NOW SEEKING APPLICANTS TO HOST EXCHANGE STUDENT
We are now seeking host families for our Rotary Youth Exchange. This is a great chance for you and your family to interact with a student from a foreign country and experience a new culture and expanded world view. Our student is from Denmark and will be attending Plainfield East High School. We are seeking two families to share in hosting our student for three months each.
"My dream is for every 17-year old to become a Youth Exchange student. If we could achieve this, there would be no more wars."
~Carl-Wilhelm Stenhammar,
President of Rotary International 2005-2006
The only financial obligation a host family is undertaking is the food and shelter for the student. All other expenses, such as clothing and education are paid either by the student's natural parents or by Rotary. Rotary even covers the student's pocket money (monthly allowance). For more information contact Gail Smith, Rotex Advisor and Outbound Coordinator, 630-408-3201 or rotary@eternaljoy.net.
